We would be very pleased to create a genuine original bespoke oil painting for you, and commissioning one from us could not be easier.Here’s what is involved in a typical commission:
STEP 1:Send us an email with details mail@humblehut.co.uk or fill out a commissioning form at one of our exhibitions.We will paint from life or from your photos.
STEP 2:We will contact you to discuss the details of subject and medium and agree the price and a delivery date.
STEP 3: We send you a photo of the nearly-finished painting. If you are happy with it you send us payment in full (usually by bank transfer).
STEP 4:Delivery of your painting.There’s nothing more to pay, no hidden extras or delivery charges, and the guarantee of your money back if you are not completely happy with your painting.
2010 PRICES FOR COMMISSIONED PAINTINGS
Our pricing policy is simple and straightforward: the cost of a commissioned painting from Humble Hut, inclusive of preparatory sketches and materials, and postage and packing, is a simple rate per square inch for whatever size you decide. Throughout 2010 this will be just £1 per square inch (for oil on board - our standard medium). So, for example, the following standard sizes are priced as follows:
eg 8” X 6”£48
10” X 8”£80
14” X 10”£140
16” X 12”£192
Any other sizes you may require are, by this formula of £1 per square inch, easy for you to calculate.
Please note that we supply you with the painting unframed.This enables you to select the frame of your choice, and keeps your costs to a minimum.If travelling is required (eg for painting from life at your own home) a surcharge will be made for travel costs at public transport rate (obviously not applicable if we are working from photos or from our own studio).
